The Story
Patrik Almö went to Ikea to look for a new bed for his teenage daughter.
A unique young girl with a taste for unique things.
–She said ”I don't want any boring old bed legs”.
But for the Sultan model there were only two types of bed legs to choose between.
That's when things started spinning around in Patrik's head.
He began to ask among his friends and soon he had loads of new ideas about one
could "personalize" one's Ikea favourites.
Who are we?
Parts of Sweden was founded by a group of Swedish Ikea-enthusiasts who wish to offer
unusual solutions and accessories especially adapted to Ikea furniture.
What do we do?
Parts of Sweden have developed a series of entirely new furniture accessories with varying
character and appearance that will remake your Ikea furniture, giving it a more personal touch.
With new exciting accessories you can lengthen the lifetime of your furniture.
Sometimes you can even change the function of the furniture with our smart solutions.
An ordinary Billy bookshelf for example, can, with various smart inserts, change its function to
being a CD and DVD shelf or a shoe rack for the hallway and with new appealing doors and inserts
your Expedit shelving system can be transformed into a personal piece of furniture.

The ambition of Parts of Sweden is to always be able to offer you unusual and fun options of choice
